Studies show chewing gum could help to control your appetite, boost energy, and make you feel full. In the studies, some felt that chewing gum contributed to them to reduce hunger and cravings, especially for "sweet & salty" foods.

The studies did have some inconsistencies, but many participants found they were less hungry after chewing gum. This makes sense because chewing gum could increase blood flow to the brain, helping you mentally control your hunger.

I'm sure you realize that gum isn't significantly aiding your weight loss journey. Still, anything that can keep you thinking positively is worth a try, especially if you eat more out of boredom than just hunger.

When you're trying to lose weight, you'll try anything that can help you get into the "weight loss" mindset.
