Since 2012, Camp Courage has been the only childhood cancer camp in all of Wyoming. The camp gives kids with cancer, cancer survivors, and their families an opportunity to connect with others who are going or have gone through the same issues.

Camp Courage is scheduled for August 1-4 at Crooked Creek Guest Ranch in Dubois. The application period is open until June 1, so families interested in attending only have a few weeks to complete their applications.

During their stay, the kids can ride horses and ATVs, fish, sit around the campfire, do arts and crafts, and leave their worries behind for a few days.

It's tough enough to be a kid, but when you throw in the troubles and struggles of having childhood cancer, it makes life even harder. Having an outlet like Camp Courage allows them to forget about the treatments, doctor appointments, needles, and all other aspects of battling cancer.

Camp Courage is one of the programs Jason's Friends Foundation offers families. Since 1996, Jason's Friends has been a driving force in helping eliminate some of the stresses that Wyoming families experience when their child is battling cancer.

  • Household Bills

You can help the Jason's Friends Foundation mission by participating in the annual Bowl With Jason's Friends Event in March each year, making a one-time donation, or becoming a planned giving partner.
