Homecoming Football Game Will Be Under the Lights for Wyoming
Wyoming’s Homecoming football game will be a night game that starts at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28 from War Memorial Stadium in Laramie.
The Mountain West and ESPN Networks made the announcement Monday morning. The game will be televised on ESPNU and is the 70th meeting between the Cowboys and Lobos.
This will mark the third evening or night game at home for UW this season. They’ve already played Oregon and Hawaii with a 5 p.m. or later start.
With this announcement, the Pokes will play at least three straight evening or night games. The Boise State game this Saturday, Oct. 21 is an 8:15 p.m. start, followed by the Lobos at 5:30 p.m. and then on Saturday, Nov. 4, the Border War against Colorado State will start at 5 p.m.
Kick-off times for Wyoming’s games at Air Force, Nov. 11 and San Jose State, Nov. 25 will be announced at later dates. The home finale versus Fresno State is a noon kick-off on Nov. 18.
