A Casper man is being held on $15,000 bond for allegedly holding a pistol at his girlfriend's head and then firing a round into the ceiling of their apartment.

Rocky Joseph Brown, 34, was arrested Tuesday after his girlfriend of 20 years -- they met when he as in the eighth grade and have five biological children together -- called police, according to an affidavit filed with Natrona County Circuit Court.

The girlfriend told police she came home and saw him with his other girlfriend, who is 14 years his junior. They began arguing, moved the argument outside their apartment on Partridge Lane, and Brown kissed his other girlfriend goodbye, according to the affidavit.

The girlfriend locked Brown out of the apartment, but he was able to crawl through a window to get inside a bedroom. He then retrieved his .22-caliber pistol from a dresser, dragged her by her hair into the hallway, pointed it at her and tolde her, "'I just want you to love me'" while she was still on her hands and knees.

According to the affidavit, he pointed a gun at her in August and told her the same thing.

In early July, the couple were arguing when Brown broke a piece of a banister and hitting her multiple times in front of their children, according to the affidavit.

After Brown was arrested, a detective wrote in the affidavit, "Rocky tries not to act like that when their children can see. Rockey did not realize (a child) saw the violent acts."

Brown is charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of domestic battery. If convicted on all counts, he could face up to 20 years behind bars.
