Road crews will begin improvements on Carnation Street in Paradise Valley in two weeks, according to a news release from the City Manager's Office.

The project, which starts Monday, April 4, on Carnation Street from Valley Drive to Honeysuckle Street will include the removal and replacement of damaged curbs, gutters and sidewalks. Crews also will replace the road surface and replace water service taps in the main water line.

The project will be done in phases. Access will be maintained to businesses along Carnation Street during the project.

However, construction will require temporary disruption to water service. Work crews will notify affected customers before their water is turned off.

The city expects the project will be finished by the end of June.

Casper City Council awareded the $217,571 project to 71 Construction. Optional One Cent Sales Tax revenues are paying for the project.
