A Natrona County man is accused of firing a gun into a camper, in order to scare someone.

Twenty-seven year old Levi McInturff has been charged with one count of aggravated assault and one count of possession of a deadly weapon with unlawful intent.

The Natrona County Sheriff's Office says shortly after 9am on Tuesday, August 4th, the owner of a camper on Sand Drift Circle, had told McInturff to leave and he had been trespassed from the property.

McInturff then raised a gun and fired one shot into the camper.

The bullet hit a mirror inside.

The Sheriff's Office later found McInturff, along with two handguns that were in his possession.

He said he fired one of them, in an attempt to scare the owner of the camper.

McInturff is being held on $25,000 bond awaiting trial, and he could face up to 10 years in prison on the aggravated assault charge, and up to five years in prison on the possession of deadly weapon with unlawful intent charge if convicted.
