Zachary Lanka’s Body Found

The body of a man who has been missing since late March has been found on Casper Mountain.

Officials with the Natrona County Sheriff's Office say some lion hunters found the body of 30-year old Zachary Lanka around eleven Saturday morning (May 18th) at the East End Clear Fork of Muddy Creek.

That's about six miles east of where his vehicle was found last month.

Sheriff's deputies were nearby conducting a search of their own, when they were notified of the discovery.

An autopsy on Lanka's body is being performed, and investigators do not suspect foul play in his death, but do suspect that he died of hypothermia.
