A Casper man has admitted that he bit a Natrona County Detention Center Book-In Officer, while he was in jail for another matter.

Twenty-one year old Zachary Glasgow has pleaded guilty to one reduced misdemeanor charge of interference with a peace officer (originally a felony charge).

The Natrona County Sheriff's Office says in mid-July, Glasgow was transported by law enforcement to the Detention Center, for public intoxication.

The Book-In officer went to help the arresting officer, because Glasgow had become combative, when he was brought out of the vehicle.

He was subdued, but while he was being carried into the Detention Center, he bit the Book-In Officer in the thigh.

A nurse later noticed an abrasion.

When interviewed, Glasgow said he wanted the officers to stop controlling him, thus he bit one of them.

He is free on bond and will be sentenced at a later date.

He could get up to six months in jail.
