With much of the first batch of Wyoming Whiskey already sold out across the state, the demand for anything from the distiller has gone thru the roof.

With their first order of 900 bottles of the Wyoming distilled spirits, Poplar Wine and Spirits was the recipient of one of 40 barrels from the first batch of whiskey. Owners Dave and Mike Reid wanted to do something to benefit the Casper community and at the same time allow someone the opportunity to win a part of Wyoming Whiskey history.

This white oak barrel stored a portion of the first batch of Wyoming Whiskey as it aged and can now be yours with the purchase of a $10 raffle ticket at Poplar Wine and Spirits with the proceeds going to local food bank Joshua's Storehouse. Tickets can be purchased up until Wednesday, December 19th, with the barrel winner being drawn Thursday morning the 20th.

For more information, contact Poplar Wine and Spirits at (307) 473-9463.

p.s. the barrel is empty.
