CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming's unemployment rate fell slightly to 4.1 percent in July.

The rate was down from June's 4.2 percent and remained below the national rate of 5.3 percent.

The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services says the state's jobless rate has remained within the range of 4 percent to 4.2 percent for the last eight months.

In July, Fremont County had the state's highest unemployment rate at 5.2 percent, followed by Natrona County at 4.4, Sweetwater at 4.3 and Uinta at 4.2.

Teton County had the lowest jobless rate at 2.1 percent, followed by Crook at 2.7, Weston at 2.8, and Goshen and Albany each at 3 percent.
