CASPER, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming's snowpack enters this week much better than it was at this time last year.

The Natural Resources Conservation Service in Casper says the snowpack is 90 percent of normal. That is down from last week's statewide average of 99 percent.

However, at this time last year, the drought had sapped Wyoming's snowpack down to 47 percent of average.
