Reaching another milestone, the Wyoming Lottery Corp. has selected Intralot, Inc. as its gaming vendor to provide the gaming system for WyoLotto™.

The selection of the vendor is an important step in preparing to sell Powerball® and Mega Millions® tickets in Wyoming. Every lottery operated in the U.S. is dependent upon a gaming vendor. Their unique and proprietary systems are what bring lottery games to life in each jurisdiction.

Jon Clontz, Wyoming Lottery's Chief Executive Officer said,

"Intralot, Inc. will provide the equipment, software and talent required to operate the sophisticated system that we will rely on to ensure a secure, fair and honest lottery in Wyoming,"

Intralot, Inc. is one of three major gaming vendors that operate in the U.S. Intralot, Inc., headquartered in Duluth GA, is the North American subsidiary of Intralot S.A. which is headquartered in Greece.

Clontz explained that the Wyoming Lottery was impressed with Intralot's customer focus and how that would come to bear in pushing state's lottery live.

"Intralot will provide quality systems and user-friendly terminals that make lottery products easy to sell."

The Wyoming Lottery released the Request for Proposal for Lottery Operations and Services on Dec. 3, 2013. Three respondents submitted proposals. After a thorough review and fair scoring of each proposal, the Wyoming Lottery awarded the contract to Intralot, which scored the highest points.

As part of the next steps, the Wyoming Lottery and Intralot will work collaboratively to have a contract signed by late April. In tandem with the contract effort, both parties will develop the gaming system project plan to guide how the Wyoming Lottery will go live later this year.
