WORLAND, Wyo. (AP) — Homemakers from around Wyoming will hold a state convention in Worland.

The Washakie County Homemakers will host the event Friday through Sunday at the Worland Senior Center. The group expects about 60 members of homemaker clubs from 13 counties.

The convention will include workshops, dinners, tours and educational programs.

The Washakie County Homemakers trace their origins to the 1920s.

Ranch women began the clubs to improve their homes through better food and furnishings. The clubs later included women from town.
