The Wyoming Highway Patrol will have extra troopers out on Wyoming Highways starting next week,, according to spokesman Sgt. Steve Townsend.

He says the ''May Mobilization Seat Belt Enforcement Campaign" will feature "high visibility enforcement" with troopers  emphasizing seat belt enforcement as well as targeting moving violations and impaired driving. Townsend says the patrol will also be checking to make sure children under the age of nine are restrained in child safety seats, as required by state law.

The 'May Mobilization'' will get underway at 12am on May 20th and continue through the Memorial Day Holiday weekend before wrapping up on midnight on June 2.
