Wyoming House Democratic Floor Leader Mary Throne of Cheyenne says she "screamed at my tv" when she saw Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton vow to put coal miners out of business.

Clinton, at a CNN Town Hall Meeting in Ohio in March, said she was going to "put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business." Throne, who describes herself as a ''political junkie," says she was watching the CNN broadcast, adding the comments led her to yell at her television and then turn it off.

Throne says she e-mailed the Clinton campaign the next day to say she was "appalled" at the comments. Throne says the former Secretary of State has since "backpedaled" from the remarks.

According to CNN Clinton apologized for the comments on Monday while campaigning in West Virginia, although she also argued the remarks have been taken out of context.
