Fall Camp is underway for Wyoming Cowboy football. Monday was the start and was also Media Day on the University of Wyoming campus.

Fourth-year head coach Craig Bohl spoke with those in attendance at the luncheon event Monday afternoon. Coach Bohl talked about the first practice, how last season finished, steps they need to take and more. He also answered questions from media members in attendance.

After the luncheon it was time to head to the Indoor Practice Facility for a chance to visit with coaches and players one-on-one. That included an opportunity for us to chat with Coach Bohl. This was a chance to ask him to expand on some of his comments at the luncheon, plus he discussed leadership, more about Josh Allen and a few other topics, including going away from two-a-day practices.

With the change away from two-a-days, there’s an extra week of Fall Camp. There are a total of 24 practices over four weeks. Fall Camp will concludes Saturday, Aug. 26. The Pokes will begin game week preparations on Monday, Aug. 28.

Wyoming will put on shoulder pads Wednesday and Thursday before the first full-padded practice is Friday. It’s all part of the NCAA-mandated acclimation period to begin training.
