LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — Hundreds of municipal employees and elected officials from around the state are in Laramie this week for the Wyoming Association of Municipalities convention.

WAM Director of Communications and Training Ginger Newman says those attending the convention will be offered a variety of workshops addressing topics ranging from policy meetings to strategic planning.

Newman tells the Laramie Boomerang (http://bit.ly/MOzxiX ) that the topics are generally leadership oriented.

The convention will also feature a number of speakers, including Sen. Mike Enzi, Gov. Matt Mead and former Gov. Mike Sullivan.
