It was a great night for indoor football in Casper Friday night as the Wyoming Cavalry opened the home season with a game against the Arizona Adrenaline, a team they had defeated 55-8 a week prior. The Wyoming Cavalry scored on every possession in the first half as they cruised to a 70-31 victory in their home opener.QB Joe McClain looked sharp as he executed the Cavalry offense. Quick sharp passes filled they arena and when receivers weren’t open, McClain used his feet to make things happen. The running game looked great as “Slice” Josh Schleunser and Johnny Woods were successful in moving the ball and blocking for McClain. The Cavalry did have a few snafu’s to start the second half. The Adrenaline successgully attempted an onside kickoff to start the second half. Combine that with an interception a few play later, and it looked as though the Adrenaline might be able to mount a come back.Coach Maciejczak rallied his Cav’s back into the right frame of mind in the middle of the 3rd quarter as the Cavalry cruised to the win and improved their season record to 3 and 1. The Wyoming Cavalry will face a bigger test in their next home match up this week. The Cav’s will face off against Oklahoma City’s Bricktown Brawlers (2-3) this Friday, April 8th.

Coach Magic joined us earlier in the week to talk about last week and to take a look ahead to this weeks contest.
