LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming opens the new college football season with fall camp on Tuesday.

Fifth-year head coach Dave Christensen returns with 15 starters, including seven on offense, seven on defense and his team's starting place-kicker.

Camp ends on Aug. 21, and the Cowboys play their first game Aug. 31 at Nebraska.

All fall camp practices will be open to the general public and will be conducted on the grass practice field just southwest of War Memorial Stadium or at the stadium.

The Cowboys will hold three fall scrimmages on Aug. 11, Aug. 17 and Aug. 21. The scrimmages also are open to the public.

Wyoming returns one of the nation's top passing offenses from last season, keyed by quarterback Brett Smith.
