Wyo. Vets Commission Creates Facebook Page

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming veterans and their family members can now access their state and federal benefits, health care and other information regarding VA disability and pension claims via Facebook.

The Wyoming Veterans Commission has established a Facebook page where veterans and family members can receive ongoing updates on the commission, outreach efforts and schedules, benefits and other veteran related news.

Wyoming Veterans Commission Director Larry Barttelbort says more Wyoming veterans and their family members are using social media to stay up to date on various issues.

He says launching a Facebook page is a logical next step for the commission as it seeks to improve its outreach services.
