CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — The Wyoming Supreme Court is backing Cheyenne's annexation of land southwest of the city.

The Associated Press reported  that the court found that a previous district court decision in favor of annexation of the Swan Ranch business park was correct and they wouldn't change it.

Cheyenne approved adding 150 acres of land to the city in 2009. The property is owned by the McMurry family and is part of a 7,200-acre parcel along interstates 25 and 80. Several neighbors objected and sought to stop it in court.
