CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is reminding hunters and anglers that 2012 conservation stamps and most hunting and fishing licenses expire on Dec. 31.

The only exception to 2012 licenses expiring at the end of the year is that certain elk licenses will be valid into January. Hunters using a 2012 elk tag into the new year will still be responsible for getting a new conservation stamp.

For waterfowl hunters, duck stamps and Harvest Information Program (HIP) permits are valid until June 30.
