The Wyoming Department of Transportation will reveal its annual State Transportation Improvement Program presentation for District 2 on Wednesday.

WYDOT spokesperson Jeff Goetz says the presentation will outline the district's funding and several planned capital projects.

“We'll detail the projects that we’d like to see get done around this area over the next six years,” Goetz says.

Goetz says the increased fuel tax will also be discussed during the presentation.

Region 2 covers Casper and portions of central, southcentral and southeastern Wyoming.

The event will be held at 5:30 p.m. at WYDOT’s Casper-based regional headquarters at 900 Bryan Stock Trail. The presentation will be open to the public.
