WYDOT Closes I-80 Between Laramie and Cheyenne

The Wyoming Department of Transportation has closed the westbound lane of Interstate 80 between Laramie and Cheyenne.
WYDOT also says bad weather and high winds are causing dangerous conditions for light trailers along I-80 from Evanston to Pine Bluffs.

There is a high risk of trailers being blown over between Rock Springs and Wamsutter, and in the Cheyenne area where WYDOT is discouraging any unnecessary travel.

WYDOT is reporting dry conditions with dangerous winds from Evanston to Rawlins.

From Rawlins to the Nebraska border, wet conditions, strong winds, blowing snow, and low visibility are hampering travel.
