A federal jury ruled against Holly Miller last Thursday following a four-day trial presided over by U.S. District Judge Nancy Freudenthal.
The Casper Star Tribune reports that the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed the lawsuit against M&N Equipment on Miller’s behalf. The lawsuit alleged the company unlawfully retaliated against her and finally fired her after she complained that she was sexually harassed by a co-worker.
The Company argued that her claims were frivolous and aimed at harassing McMurry Energy.
Miller also alleged that her former supervisor at M&N called her new employer and falsely maligned her, causing her to lose her new job.
