Woman Dies In Crash In Casper

Rebecca Jenkins died from her injuries from an accident late Tuesday, according to a news release from the Casper Police Department.

Officers responded at 11:50 p.m. to A and North Beverly streets where a pickup had been traveling south at an unknown speed struck a pole, according to the news release.

Jenkins, 20, was the the sole occupant in the pickup.

She was taken to the Wyoming Medical Center and later died of her injuries.

Jenkins was not wearing her seat belt. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the accident, according to police.
