Heads up - National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Casper.   Here's the details:

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RIVERTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...WIND...BLOWING SNOW AND WIND CHILLS WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM MST MONDAY.

* SUMMARY AND TIMING...LIGHT SNOW WILL FALL ACROSS THE AREA MUCH OF TONIGHT AND MONDAY. TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE FALL TO NEAR OR SLIGHTLY BELOW ZERO TONIGHT AND RISE VERY LITTLE ON MONDAY.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...1 TO 4 INCHES WITH THE HEAVIER AMOUNTS NEAR CASPER AND CASPER MOUNTAIN.

* WIND AND VISIBILITY...NORTH 15 TO 25 MPH WILL OCCASIONALLY REDUCE THE VISIBILITY TO ONE HALF MILE AT TIMES.

* IMPACTS...WIND CHILLS TO 25 BELOW ZERO WILL CREATE A POTENTIAL HAZARD TO ANYONE OUTSIDE FOR MORE THAN A FEW MINUTES. IN ADDITION...AREA ROADS MAY BECOME SNOWCOVERED OVERNIGHT.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.
