An upper-level weather system and unseasonably strong cool front will slowly approach the state of Wyoming today and will continue to slide across the region on Thursday.  For today, expect more clouds than sun, seasonably mild temperatures, and isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms.  The best chance for precipitation will be across western and central Wyoming.  Winds will also be strong into early Thursday morning for much of the state.  Expect wind gusts between 35 and 50 mph, with some isolated higher gusts possible.  Daytime highs today will stay in the 70's to lower 80's.  We will then see partly to mostly cloudy skies, breezy to gusty winds, and a better chance for rain showers and thunderstorms across the entire state on Thursday.  Temperatures will also be noticeably cooler and below average statewide, with daytime highs in the 60's and 70's.  This weather system will then move out of the region by Friday.  We could see early clouds with lingering rain showers.  Skies will then gradually clear by the afternoon and evening hours.  Temperatures will also become even cooler and well below average (50's and 60's) for the end of the work week.
