Winds will remain quite strong across southeast Wyoming, especially south of Casper and toward Wheatland and Cheyenne.  Expect gusting in excess of 60 mph at times, especially in the more wind-prone areas.  Clouds increase today and some light snow showers will be possible as a weak cold front approaches.  The mountains and higher terrain will be in the best position for scattered snow tonight (New Year's Eve) into Wednesday morning.  Could be just enough for slick and icy spots to develop late tonight and overnight on the roads.  Travelers should use extra caution.  Watch for some areas of developing patchy fog as well, as that cold air moves over a milder surface.  Fog may reduce visibility tonight into Wednesday across some of the region.
