A Natrona County man is accused of stabbing another that he was in a limousine with.

Sixty-four year old William Waldroup has been charged with one count of aggravated assault.

On Saturday night (March 15th), Mills Police were called to the Beacon Club, for a report of an assault with a knife, and that it had happened in a limo parked by the front door of the club.

One witness told investigators that earlier in the evening, a group of seven people, including the witness and the victim, got into the limo to go to the beacon club.

Waldroup was already in the vehicle at the time and appeared to be intoxicated and angry.

When everyone tried to exit the limo at the club, the witness said Waldroup attacked the victim from behind.

The victim was taken to the ICU at Wyoming Medical Center, with a non-life threatening cut to his neck.

Police later found Waldroup with blood on him, as well as a bloody knife.

A motive for the attack has not been determined, and witnesses indicated it was unprovoked.

Waldroup is being held on $50,000 bond awaiting trial, and could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
