A Casper man has pleaded guilty to charges that he strangled his ex-girlfriend.

Wesley Marks has pleaded guilty to one count of strangulation of a household member, and one count of touching another person in a rude, insolent or angry manner.

According to Casper Police, back on October 23rd marks and his ex-girlfriend Essie Mathenia, got into an argument over Marks’ Facebook account.

Mathenia told officers it was then, that marks grabbed her cell phone and broke it, then he grabbed her by the neck, started choking her and put her in a headlock, until she passed out.
