A front has brought much cooler weather to the state today.  Although there will be plenty of sun to go around, temperatures will only reach into the 30s and 40s today.

As far as precipitation goes, there will be some around today into Tuesday.  The snow, brought in by an upper level weather disturbance, will be of the scattered variety.  Through this afternoon a few light snow showers will spread through northwestern and western locations.  The Big Horn Basin will see some light snow develop later this afternoon as well.  Most other areas will stay dry.  As the weather disturbance move east, additional snowfall is expected late this evening into Tuesday in the east.  A Winter Weather Advisory has been posted for the Sierra Madre and Snowy Ranges in the south central portion of the state and also for the extreme southeast corner north through Niobrara County from 11 PM tonight through 2 PM Tuesday.
