A stretch of warmer and drier weather is expected across the entire Cowboy state Monday through Wednesday of this week.  A large ridge of high pressure will be the main and dominant weather feature, with temperatures warming up through the middle of the week.  Afternoon temperatures will likely reach into the lower 70's (east of the Divide) by Wednesday.

No major precipitation events are expected across the state, as this high pressure system holds the reins for a while.  Although, winds will be strong and very breezy, especially for parts of northwest, central and southeast regions.  Gusting this afternoon and into Wednesday could reach between 35 and 50 mph, with the higher range expected across the more wind-prone areas.  Winds will turn a little stronger into late Tuesday.

Enjoy the next few days of warmer and drier conditions!
