A ridge of high pressure will be the main weather feature today, which will keep temperatures warm and slightly above normal statewide.  There will be a chance for showers and thunderstorms today as moisture out of the southwest creeps into state.  The best chance for thunderstorms today will be in far western parts of the state.  Winds could be breezy at times, but no significant gusting is expected.  Daytime highs will stay in the 70's and 80's with 60's in the mountains.  Overnight lows will drop into the 40's and lower 50's with 30's possible in the mountains.  Temperatures will continue to be warmer than normal on Thursday, but we will also see thickening clouds and thunderstorms later in the day as a cool front approaches the area.  Temperatures will remain in the 70's and 80's.
