There will be plenty of sunshine to go around the state today with mild spring temperatures.  Highs will range from the upper 40s in the northwest to the mid 60s and lower 70s in the east.  Conditions look to stay mainly dry and quiet.

A front coming in from the west on Friday will bring clouds and moisture to western and northern counties and wind to eastern locations.  Showers will develop in western Wyoming during the day and spread east later on.  Northern locations will see a few scattered showers and a few embedded thunderstorms.

Meanwhile further east, temperatures will stay quite warm and the wind will pick up ahead of the front.  There may be a few isolated, gusty thunderstorms in the east as well.  All this is of a concern due to the dry conditions.  A Fire Weather Watch has been posted for southeastern and east central Wyoming Friday afternoon and evening due to strong west winds and low relative humidity.  West winds could gust to 35 mph at times.
