Warm Temperatures And Re-developing Thunderstorms

Expect increasing clouds today, as a low pressure system interacts with monsoon moisture and surface instability this afternoon.  Temperatures will remain warm and comfortable, with highs mostly in the lower 80's.  Afternoon showers and thunderstorms will develop, some could be stronger or severe and isolated.  With any thunderstorms today and tonight, expect the likelihood of heavy rain, downpours, small hail and gusty winds.  Minor and localized flooding will also be possible, as some of these storms could be slow-moving.  A few showers and storms may last through the night, but will be located further toward the eastern state line.
