A Casper man has changed his plea in a sex case with a minor.

Vince Washington has entered an alford plea to one charge of second degree sexual assault of a minor.

Prosecutors say back in august, a ten year old girl told her mother and the Child Advocacy Project, that Washington had touched her private areas multiple times, and that he tried to get her to touch his.

When she tried to move away, he threatened to punch her in the face, and to lie to her mother about it.

Washington refused to take polygraph and DNA tests.

Prosecutors are seeking a six-to-eight year prison term.

He remains in jail on fifty-thousand dollars bond and is awaiting to be sentenced.
