High pressure will continue to be settled over the state of Wyoming for much of the day today.  Expect partly sunny, hazy skies (due to the wildfires in the Pacific Northwest) with very warm to hot and slightly above normal temperatures statewide.  Daytime highs will stay in the 80's and 90's.  Conditions will also stay mainly dry.  By later this evening and overnight, a cool front will move across the region.  This will cause winds to increase and become strong and gusty, especially across northern and eastern Wyoming.  Expect wind gusts between 35 and 50 mph, with some isolated higher gusts.  With the exception of the state's mountains, conditions will remain mainly dry with the arrival of this cool front.  Temperatures will be noticeably cooler and well below average on Saturday as this cool front continues to dig farther south.  However, we will see minimal cloudiness and mainly dry weather conditions as any moisture associated with this weather system stays to the north or south of Wyoming.  Higher pressure will then build over the region on Sunday, which will keep skies mostly sunny and conditions mainly dry.  Temperatures will also be not as cool, but still below the average for this time of year.  Temperatures this weekend will remain in the 60's and 70's.
