A strong ridge of high pressure will be the main weather feature on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.  We will see sunny to mostly sunny skies and mainly dry weather conditions across much of the state for the end of the work week.  The one exception will be in far northwestern parts of the state on Thursday and Friday, where we could see isolated showers and a few thunderstorms.  Temperatures will also be very warm to hot and about 10-15 degrees above average statewide.  Daytime highs will stay in the 70's and 80's.  Overnight lows will also stay mild and drop into the 40's and 50's.  Expect cooler and more unsettled weather for the upcoming weekend into early next week.
