LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — The University of Wyoming Board of Trustees is meeting in Laramie Thursday and Friday amid some dissatisfaction with new President Bob Sternberg.

On Thursday afternoon, the trustees are scheduled to hear a report from Sternberg on finding replacements for deans and a top administrator who have left in the past five months.

The positions that need to be filled include the provost.

Some left the university because of differences with Sternberg, who took over as president on July 1, while others left before Sternberg arrived or for other reasons.

The changes in leadership and other decisions by the new president have resulted in some open criticism of Sternberg from faculty and students.
