Southern Wyoming will continue to be plagued by plenty of wind today and into the weekend.  Strong, gusty mainly west to northwest winds will dominate and gust to 60 mph in some portions of the state.  A High Wind Warning remains in effect for a stretch of I-80 from  just west of Rawlins to near Cheyenne.  Meanwhile, snow showers will still be found around the state's mountains.

A cold front crosses the state on Saturday.  Snow showers will spread from north to south during the day.  Northern, central and western portions of the state will be in the best position to see snow accumulations with lesser amounts found along I-80.

The second half of the weekend will be chilly with scattered snow showers continuing mainly in the northern half of the state.

Weekend travelers, be aware of snow, some blowing and drifting snow and icy roadways around some portions of the state.
