Unseasonably Warm With A Small Chance For Showers/T-Storms

A fast-moving weather system will continue to push across the state of Wyoming today.  This will create a small chance for showers and thunderstorms, mainly across northern, central, and far eastern portions of the state.  Any storms that develop could be strong to severe and capable of producing hail, gusty winds, and brief periods of heavy rain.  Otherwise, expect sunny to mostly sunny skies with warm and above normal temperatures.  Daytime highs will remain in the 70's and 80's.  A large low pressure system will move into the Pacific Northwest and California on Wednesday and will remained settled over the region through at least the end of the work week.  This will funnel subtropical moisture and atmospheric instability into Wyoming during this time.  We can expect early sunshine with increasing cloud cover for the rest of the day.  There will also be daily chances for rain showers and thunderstorms.  Strong to severe thunderstorms and heavy rain will be the main concerns for the second half of the work week.  Temperatures will also become a few degrees cooler and closer to average.
