A new publication is out called "Wyoming Local Foods; The Guide", Donna Cuin, horticulturalist for the University Agricultural Extension Office says it was put together by a group of UW educators.

"That's come out with growers and producers based on what they produce and also divided into each of the counties. So it does tell you where to go to look for locally grown products as close to home as possible."

Cuin says the publication also offers tips on what to do with your produce once you get it home.

"as far as preserving what you harvest or purchase, how to store what you've purchased and some food safety tips as well."

County extension offices across the state should have at least one copy of the guide, Cuin says, and the University Publication Office has copies to order.
