Two men from New Mexico who were playing in the indoor football game in Casper on Friday found themselves in jail for delivering a different kind of hit.

Darius Marshall and Devin Wilson of the New Mexico Stars indoor football team, were arrested for simple assault, after being involved in a brawl following Friday's game at the Casper Events Center.

According to police, Ross Cochran, a player for the Wyoming Cavalry, was going out the back door of the Events Center, and exchanged some words with some players from the other team.

Cochran told investigators that shortly afterwards, he was jumped by several players and was able to identify Marshall and Wilson as two of the attackers.

Another Cavs player and witness told investigators similar information.

Both Marshall and Wilson are free on bond, awaiting their initial hearing.
