Two commercial trucks crashed early this morning approximately eight miles south of Cheyenne on I 25 at mile post 2.4 northbound. 35 year old Servio Castanon of Victorville, California was slowing down looking for the I 25 Port of Entry. That's when 58 year old Anthony Harvey of Stewart, Florida came up behind him. Failing to observe that Castanon was slowing down, the truck being driven by Harvey rear-ended Castanon's combination unit. The crash caused the two truck combinations to become stuck together on the shoulder of the northbound lane of Interstate 25. The crash also ignited a fire engulfing both trucks and caused the northbound lanes of Interstate 25 to be closed. Northbound traffic was re-routed down the off ramp at the location of the crash and able to proceed around it.

Harvey and another occupant in his truck were taken to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.  Anthony Harvey is being investigated for following too close in the incident.
