The famed and popular Casper Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps will be holding two public performances in Casper this summer, the first just in time for Father's Day. The Troopers will debut their 2018 program “The New Road West” at Kelly Walsh High School on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 17th, according to a release. The event is free to the public and will start just after 7:00 p.m. at the Kelly Walsh Football Stadium.

On July 12th, the corps will return to the area on to celebrate their 60th anniversary at Fort Caspar with another free public performance. Local high school students can participate and perform with the Troopers at the Wyoming Summer Music Camp co-hosted with VIBES Fine & Performing Arts. They'll learn from the same instructors that teach the Troopers, get a behind the scenes look at what it takes to run a drum corps and learn one of the songs they will be playing this year. Participants will also get to stand with the Troopers and perform with them at their 60th Anniversary Celebration at Fort Caspar on Thursday, July 12th.

The following night, Friday, July 13th, the corps will compete head to head with three other world class drum and bugle corps at Drums Along the Rockies - Casper Edition.

The Troopers will begin their nationwide coast-to-coast tour in Clovis, California on June 22nd. For more details, you can visit TroopersDrumCorps.org or find them on facebook.
