UPDATE: The Trails Celebration is still being planned for Saturday, but due to the weather the start time has been changed to noon to allow time for the roads to be plowed and sanded.

The Central Wyoming Trails Alliance is sponsoring a winter celebration on Saturday, December 17th. According the Alliance, the event is designed to "celebrate our amazing trail system" and see XC skiing, fat biking, snowshoeing and Biathlon demonstrations from local professionals. You can join in the guided group twilight tours and then stick around for the festival evening social with live music from Chad Lore.

You can come and go as you like or attend the entire day. This is a no cost family friendly event. Food will be available for purchase at the Nordic Lodge from Essence of Life Catering.

Schedule of Events
10:00 am: Opening and Welcome
11:00 am: Demonstrations and Clinics
XC Skiing & Waxing, Fat Biking & Bike Packing, Snowshoeing, Ski Trail Groomer display and the Casper Mountain Biathlon Club’s electronic guns.

1:00 pm: Lunch Break
2:00 pm – 4:00 pm: Open Product Demos & Kids Chariot races (parents pull your kids in a ski buggy against other parent-kid teams)

4:00pm – 6:00 pm: Guided Group Backcountry XC Ski, Fat Bike and Snowshoe Tours....Headlamps and helmets required
6:00 pm – 9:00 pm: Evening social @ Nordic Lodge – Live music, Food & Beverage
