The trooper smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the car prompting a search. 130 pounds of marijuana, estimated to have a street value of well over $500,000, were found inside the vehicle and in the trunk.

Nguyen was arrested and booked into the Laramie County Jail. She has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

The marijuana is believed to have originated out of Oakland, California with an unknown final destination.
