Townhouse Fire [VIDEO]

The Casper Fire Department responded to a fire Thursday afternoon at a townhouse near the corner of 8th Street and Beverly.

The call came in around 2pm.

The fire was contained and extinguished within 10 minutes.

Firefighters managed to confine the damage to a single apartment.

No one was home at the time of the fire.

Investigators say the cause appears to have been a defective washing machine.
