With high pressure in control, temperatures will continue to stay very warm to hot for another day.  With the exception of the northwest, much of the state will see highs in the 80s and 90s this afternoon.

Wind will accompany the toasty temperatures, which will dry things out even more.  The fire danger across much of the state will be very high to extreme.  A Red Flag Warning has been issued for much of central and southern Wyoming through this evening due to the wind and low relative humidity.  West to southwest winds could gust to 45 and 50 mph at times.

The chance for precipitation is low.  The far north may see a couple of isolated gusty thunderstorms later today, otherwise it will be mainly dry.  Tuesday holds somewhat better prospects for a few thunderstorms in the north and east due to a passing front.
